The other day a friend dropped off 10 or so pallets and I was in heaven! We are working on our 3rd floor and though it is almost finished there is still one project that I've been wanting to do. In one corner of our space we had a small clubhouse built in, complete with a doorway and window. I want to face the walls of the clubhouse with the pallet wood. Little did I know but those pallets are a pain in the tush to get a part. My neighbor was around so I was able to ask him is he had a sawzall to cut through those pesky nails. I zipped through a ton and then got stuck on the last few. Late last night, ok... at 3am, I heard it pouring and was so concerned that the wood I left on the porch was getting soaked. So awesome, it didn't!
The boys and I were getting restless inside so I bundled up Finny and kicked them out back. One of my projects for today was to get through the entire pile, sanding down each piece of wood. Owen loved the idea of helping me and stuck through sanding down two boards... just two! Meanwhile, I still have approximately 20 left. The whole time Finn was enjoying opening and closing, climbing in and out of the doorway. Anyway, it kept us busy and hopefully youngest will take that 3hr nap that he's been into for the past few days!
